Term 3, 2021
Tuesday, 3 August 6:00pm - 7:00pm - Information Evening
Parents and caregivers are invited to an Information Evening. Come along and find out what makes Northcote Intermediate School different, what changes we have made and our plans for the future. There will be brief presentations by select staff and an opportunity to ask questions.
Open Days - Thursday-Friday, 12, 13 & 19th August;
9:00 am - 12:00 pm: Parents, caregivers and students are invited to come and see a 'normal' day at school. Please come to the school office on arrival and some of our students will take you on a guided tour of our school. Please note that our break time is 10:30 am until 11:00 am.
Enrolment week- Wednesday 8th September - Friday 17th September
|Enrolments are undertaken by appointment where possible, as the Principal Team enjoy meeting new students. Online enrolment appointments with one of our leadership team will be 20 minutes long and can be booked via the following website: www.schoolinterviews.co.nz, event code: 5bdtz|
Wednesday, 1 September- Out of Zone enrolments close
Term 4, 2021
Friday, 26 November, 9:30am - 11:45am - Orientation Morning
All students who have enrolled for 2022 are invited to an orientation morning. Buses will be provided for students from our contributing Primary Schools - Northcote Primary, Birkenhead Primary, Willow Park Primary and Sunnybrae Normal. Parents and caregivers are welcome to attend with their child.
School Enrolment Zone
Northcote Intermediate now has an enrolment zone as of January 2020. In-zone families will be required to upload proof of address. Out-of-zone applications will close on Wednesday 1 September and a ballot will be held for any available places. Priority will be given to siblings and children of past pupils in line with our Enrolment Scheme and Ministry of Education Guidelines. If a ballot is required this will be drawn on Wednesday, 8 September. We aim to notify all applicants by Monday 13th September. Friday, 27th September will be the final date to confirm acceptance.
